Find your Happy Place!
Local & National News | June 06, 2020
My friends. Now more than ever, I challenge you to break away from the daily worrying, anxiety, & stress.

No matter how bleak the world & the future looks... Turn to God. Repent. Invite him into your world. I'm speaking from experience here. No matter how hopeless things may seem...there is always hope and happiness waiting right around the corner for you. But it's up to YOU to take that 1st step.

It's so easy to get caught up in the madness going on around us. The fear, panic, anxiety, worry. I just decided to shut it all off and step out on the patio. As I looked out upon the horizon, birds chirping all around me, I captured this photo.

It may not seem like much, but to me, it signifies hope. It reminds me that even in the face of fear and the unknown, one thing is for certain. That we are all blessed to be alive today, walking this beautiful earth. To be able to experience even one second of this thing called life is in and of itself a gift.

Maybe there is a silver lining through all the madness. Maybe we can learn to appreciate the simple things. A sunset. A hug. A smile. Time together away from the normal hustle and bustle.

I encourage you to take a second to step outside of your own routine. Find your happy place. And just take it all in. No matter what may be going on in our world right now, remember that your life is a precious gift, and there is still so much beauty and splendor all around us. All you have to do is open up your heart to it. You may be surprised that what you discover has always been right there in front of you, waiting for you to capture it.

Absolute Calm
